When I'm not making a ghastly racket, I do like to indulge in a bit of filming. Transport related stuff is good as they move and make a lot of noise - plus being a car-free zone I am a student of the concept of public transport with a bit of historical interest thrown in.
Other clips can be found on my youtube channel ('Nationsounds') and it's worth selecting the 'Full Screen' button in the bottom right corner of each clip.
As a taster, and I apologise for the incorrect ratio on some of these, I don't really know what I'm doing, here's some vintage buses running in connection with the 150th anniversary of Ewell West station:
Some shots from Biggin Hill Air Show 2009:
....whilst this compilation includes footage of preserved 1920s built electric loco 'Sarah Siddons' ably supported by a pair of first generation 1950s diesels on special workings on London Underground's Metropolitan Line:
...and finally a High Speed Circuit of Horton Country Park with music from 'The Unfinished Dinphonies' (No. 19)
